Southridge boys upset Hanford 56-53

KENNEWICK -- Garrett Willard had 13 points to lead the Southridge boys basketball team past Hanford 56-53 in a CBBN 3A game.

The victory keeps the Suns in the playoff hunt, as they are tied for sixth with Sunnyside. The top six teams advance to the district tournament. Hanford falls into fourth place, a game behind West Valley.

Jalen Watson's 20 points led the Falcons.

Spencer Vorheis came off the bench to score eight points and grab nine rebounds for Southridge.
